About

I work with a wide range of clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds in person and remotely. Clients learn to reduce stress and work with their feelings in ways that lead to personal growth and development. Mindfulness, deep breathing and body awareness are used to reduce anxiety, depression, excessive self-criticism, perfectionism, detachment and emotional flooding. These problematic feelings can lead to growth, greater empathy for self and others as well as greater kindness towards others in their life when worked with creatively in psychotherapy.

I provide short-term psychodynamic therapy that combines mindfulness, relaxation and deep breathing, body sensory awareness and insight within a safe nonjudgmental space. This can lead reduction of stress caused by old emotional conflicts and current life realities.

Having an empathic based relationship with a client builds trust which is the foundation of therapy that can lead to transformations of the current life situation into a possibility for growth and more meaningful experiences as well as greater use of emotional intelligence, intuition and sensate body awareness which creates calmer responses to stress,
