About

I specialize in working with clients and athletes of all levels, to address mental health and performance challenges related to anxiety, stress, depresison, focus, injury, life outside sports, retirement and more. As a retired professional baseball player, who played 7 years with the Chicago White Sox, I understand the challenges difficult thoughts and feelings present while competing. I am passionate about supporting my clients and athletes in dealing with their challenges, through evidenced based supports, to increase their ability to function at the highest level in all aspects of life.

I support clients struggling with anger, depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and more. I have specialty training in evidence-based treatment including, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindful Based Practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Reaching out for support can be scary and difficult. Being an athlete brings an expectation of having to be strong or always at our best. I am motivated to provide quality services, while helping eliminate the stigma related to mental health and sports.
