Hello! My name is Melanie, but everyone calls me Mia. I love helping my clients explore how the past is impacting the present, and gain the insight and skills they need to make meaningful changes in their lives. I deeply enjoy working with clients in the following areas: marital dynamics, repairing mother/daughter relationships, religious trauma, fertility issues, body image, and postpartum mental health. I draw from a variety of models of therapy, namely IFS. If you'd like to know more about that, please don't hesitate to ask! The important thing to know is that in our counseling relationship, you'll be treated like a multifaceted person- because that's what you are! I'm a warm and direct therapist, who will help you notice the patterns that are no longer serving you and develop new ways of engaging with the world.
