My approach to counseling closely mirrors my view of life: there is no one-size-fits-all answer. I use a multifaceted approach to counseling, pulling from the core theoretical approaches of CBT, Person-Centered, and DBT. I believe that as humans, we were created for connection with others. We all experience unexpected circumstances that make life challenging, and attempting to balance life's challenges on our own can be confusing and frustrating. I focus on helping my clients discover their self-worth and core values in order to help them build a life they are proud of. I began my counseling journey working with victims and survivors of domestic violence. From there, I worked alongside an OBGYN office, seeing patients with a range of diagnoses. Most recently, I have worked in an eating disorder treatment facility at the partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient levels. I have worked with clients with eating disorders, personality disorders, self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorder. I look forward to helping you forge a path to a life worth living!
