About

She attended and graduated from Lindenwood University with a masters in counseling. She has 19 years of experience working in mental health. She began as a psychiatric therapist for an acute care hospital. She later transitioned to case management supporting persons with developmental disabilities. She was promoted to provider relations where she worked tirelessly to improve services provided by providers and received by clients. It was during this time that she realized the commonality between all her positions, her genuine interest in persons lives and supporting them in finding resolutions.

As a LPC, she has supported persons with anxiety, depression, thought of suicide, self-harm, grief, anger, life transitions, crisis care, brief solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, school difficulties, self-esteem, and relationship issues.

One of the most valuable lessons I learned throughout my career is that in order to be most effective in treatment, each person has to be treated as an individual. Cookie cutter therapy produces minimal results
