I recently moved to Denver from Orlando, Florida. I love hiking, painting, and my two cats, Tangerine and Gizmo! I am nonbinary (she/they pronouns) and queer. I am passionate about therapy and am here to help! I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at University of Central Florida. I have worked in all levels of eating disorder treatment/care (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient), and have worked with all levels of substance use disorder treatment. I volunteered for Orlando United Counseling (for those affected by the Pulse and Plaza shootings) for 3 years. I am a licensed professional counselor, and I have significant experience with treating people with eating disorders, substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am also LGBTQ+ affirming and am a queer therapist. I have 10 years of experience as a therapist. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I know it's hard to make that first appointment! If you feel like you could use more self-compassion, more resiliency with shame thoughts/feelings, and if you want to accept yourself as you are, counseling is a great tool for this. I'm so excited to work with you!
