Hello! I'm glad you're here. I have experience in child welfare, family crisis intervention, inpatient psychiatric care, and I currently serve as a therapist in an IOP program. While I have worked with clients ranging from 4 to 94 and with those experiencing concerns equally as vast, I especially enjoy working alongside clients who are exploring their sense of self, improving their communication skills, developing healthier relationships and boundaries, and recovering from abuse and trauma in their past. I use an eclectic approach with concepts from CBT, DBT, REBT, attachment theory, Polyvagal theory, etc. In practice, I spend a lot of time with my clients studying nuances of thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I utilize a solution-focused approach while recognizing it is only when we understand our experience that we can we move towards true change. Most importantly, I believe, I work to create a space where clients feel seen and heard.
