I believe at the core of each of our experiences in life is our felt sense of feeling safe or unsafe in relationships and situations. I also believe that our nervous system is inherently linked to how we are responding to people & situations. The acknowledgement of our nervous system requires us to connect to our body & become an active observer of how we are managing or coping while being in the world. This process is focused on initially helping people begin to find things that make them feel better & resourced & then moving towards the "hot button topics" once we have reached a more resilient place in our systems. I work with adult individuals. I am a somatic and attachment, or relationship, focused in my approach. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing and EMDR. I work with people to address past traumas, life transitions, relationships struggles, and symptomology such as anxiety and depression. I believe finding the right therapist is like finding the right shoe. Therapy is an individual process and what might be right for you may not be for someone else; I may be the right fit for one person and not for another. It is what is best for you.
