About

I enjoy working with many types of mental health concerns and challenges, as well as folks with alternative lifestyles and identities. My approach is to help you feel supported while gaining confidence that you can improve your issues, deal with your challenges and get to the point where you don't feel like you need therapy. I believe in Feedback Informed Treatment where I check in with my clients and they let me know how I am doing so as to tailor my therapy approach to be the most effective while feeling safe.

My specialties include relationship counseling, issues related to relationship problems and anxiety. I have expertise working with people diagnosed with anxiety disorders, Borderline and other mental health challenges. I have led DBT groups, trained and worked at the SAC Gender Health Center and worked with individuals and couples for over 13 years.

My therapy style is very supportive and compassionate, while also solution-focused and fostering of self-confidence. While offering skill-building, support and insight, my goal is to help clients work through challenges and feel like they no longer need therapy for their presenting issues. I offer a brief consultation to see if we are a good "fit."
