In twenty-two years of mental health work and fourteen years of professional coaching, I have developed expertise in relationship counseling, depression and anxiety, anger management, behavior disorders and recovery from abuse. I have coached clients in personal growth, self esteem, assertiveness and divorce/blended families.I enjoy coaching divorced families toward healthy bonding and blending. After the pain of divorce, it is challenging to incorporate all parents, step parents, siblings, half-siblings, step siblings, grandparents, and other extended family into a loving group where all members can grow and be productive. In mental health, I enjoy working with mood disorders and anxiety disorders. Our work helps people with mood disorders to better understand how their brain and body function together in managing their moods. When we work on anxiety, clients find that more knowledge and coping skills can really make a difference. Education and skills help people to see that they have more control over how their anxiety and mood affect their lives than they thought was possible.
