Hi there! Congratulations on taking the first big step. My name is Melisa, my pronouns are she/her, and as a Latina therapist, I feel honored to work with individuals on their path to processing the many layers of what it means to be multicultural, the barriers that come with being labeled as "other", and those who are learning how to love themselves outside of societal norms and expectations. Asking for support takes courage and it can be difficult, but the journey through therapy can be a rewarding one. I'm here to be a supportive presence as you maneuver through the intricacies and difficulties that comes with being human. I invite you to begin your journey in therapy, where we identify challenges, explore the root of their origin, and create new ways of thinking/behaving to begin new patterns that align with your values. I implement interventions depending on your needs, including CBT, DBT, and Narrative Therapy. También puedo implementar estas intervenciones en español. Asking for help can be uncomfortable, overwhelming, and challenging. I'm here to support you every step of the way. Feeling ready to take the next step? Let's set up a 15 minute call where we can discuss your needs, how therapy may be helpful at this time, and if I am a good fit for you.
