About

*** Not accepting new clients *** I truly believe that we all do the best we can and have options and room for growth. We have very good reasons for the protection strategies we employ, however, those strategies can often get in the way of creating or deepening connections. I enjoy brainstorming with clients; to identify goals, learn and practice skills that enhance their individual abilities as well as improve their most important relationships. Such therapy is particularly well-suited to people, couples, and families who are struggling with life transitions, and have a genuine desire to pursue personal growth.

I enjoy working with couples and individuals, as well as first responders. My areas of counseling focus are: Emotion Focused Therapy, to help with adjustment disorders, anxiety, complex bereavement, depression, grief and loss, healthy relationships, parenting, PTSD, self-esteem, stress management, trauma, and women's issues .

I have experience working with diverse populations including first responders, couples and adults. Prior to starting a private practice, I worked in the public education system, as a school counselor and a school psychologist. Currently, I enjoy private practice as a more "in-depth" approach of working with clients.
