About

I thoroughly enjoy helping clients to be authentically themselves within a safe and comfortable space. Each person is unique in their own way, and because of this they may need a unique approach in therapy. I look at the therapeutic relationship as a team, we can collaborate together to work on any issues that may be troublesome. Transparency is an important part of the therapeutic relationship, and I encourage it on both sides in order to create a non-judgmental space.

I view therapy through a person-centered lens, while using interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR, with a trauma-informed approach. Another big part of my practice is using Art Therapy to encourage clients to feel comfortable and able to express themselves on many levels.

One of my favorite quotes, "Change your thoughts, and you can change your world" by Norman Vincent Peale, really inspires me to help clients realize hope for the future. The change comes from within you, and we can start that process in the therapy room.
