She works alongside clients throughout the creation and implementation of personalized treatment plans that offer structured interventions and assist to create a greater self-acceptance, promoting both immediate and long-term change. Melanie utilizes empowering, empathetic communication with strengths-based and client-centered interviewing approaches. She incorporates holistic, evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Somatic Therapy, Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy (CBT/DBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Expressive Therapy (art and play) .
