Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
My approach to therapy begins with forming mutual trust. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, the right 'fit', and that a foundation of support and connection can empower you to explore your past and understand how it is impacting your 'now'. View 4 Photos My experience started in New York when I worked with children who had experienced trauma, and their support systems, and then transitioned to hospice where I worked on a geriatric and pediatric team. After moving to the DMV I was the clinical supervisor on a specialized inpatient unit focusing on Post Traumatic and Dissociative Disorders. My specialty is working with adults who have experienced relational, developmental, attachment and community trauma. I also work with individuals who are navigating religious abuse (OTD), relationship challenges, parenting stress, grief, loss, and chronic illness. I work to create a safe space for those who are LGBTQ+.
