Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Therapy can be difficult, as it often requires us to embrace change. For me, it was this very process of change that led me to become a therapist. After years of working as a corporate attorney, I discovered that my true passion was supporting people with their mental health. My approach as a therapist is empathetic, supportive, and warm. While processing the past is essential, change occurs in the present. We will work together to understand the underlying reasons for your emotional struggles so you can experience greater mental peace. My hope is to support you with working towards the life you envision for yourself. My practice is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapies. This means I help clients transform their thought patterns, embrace positive behaviors, and cultivate a compassionate, non-judgmental acceptance of their emotions. I also specialize in exposure-based therapies to treat trauma and anxiety (specifically, social anxiety, OCD, and panic disorder). Taking care of our mental health in a world full of distractions and demands can be challenging, and finding the right therapist can feel even harder. I would be honored to explore whether I might be a good fit for you.
