I am a psychoanalytically-trained therapist who specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. My work is highly relational and my first focus will be on creating a real and authentic relationship with you. Therapy is a space to learn what connection feels like when you are welcome and encouraged to be your wholest self, to share your fullest range of emotions, and to set aside the defenses or walls that have kept you disconnected in the past. My focus in therapy is not just on alleviating symptoms, but on creating deeper understanding of their root causes. In therapy we will create space to explore the parts of yourself that have often been avoided and the patterns (conscious and unconscious) that are keeping you stuck. I aim to meet these parts of you with warmth, curiosity, and, when needed, gentle challenge. I feel honored to walk alongside individuals as they work through past trauma and pain. I deeply value each vulnerable moment I am trusted with and each moment of shared connection. Please reach out to get started. I work primarily in person but am open to discussing exceptions if we are otherwise a good fit.
