About

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Miami University and my Master's degree in Counseling from Indiana University. I have experience in working with adults, teens, couples, families, and groups. Overall, I enjoy engaging people in psychotherapy by creating a safe, validating, and collaborative environment. I believe in taking the time to explore emotions and thoughts, while also providing people with tools to manage stress or specific symptoms. I enjoy identifying clients' strengths to help elevate them and create confidence in their ability to better manage stress.

My specialty areas include depression, anxiety, work-life balance, and relationship issues. In particular, I am passionate about helping women and couples though perinatal concerns, from infertility to postpartum support. My other speciality is working with those who are attempting to navigate the dating world and understand relationship patterns better.

Specific training in CBT, DBT, ACT, and Brief Strategic Family Therapy. I enjoy using mindfulness exercises and encourage clients to use mindfulness outside of the therapy room. I use research-driven treatment models, but also place a great deal of importance in building strong relationships with clients to help encourage change.
