“People will forget what you said or what you did, but not how you made them feel.” This is a quote I try to live by both as a therapist and in my personal life. Life isn’t always about being the smartest, or the funniest, or the most successful. Being kind towards others often resonates louder and lasts longer. As a therapist, I strive to make sure my clients feel heard and understood. Life often takes unexpected twists and turns, and we can all use an extra ear to listen and help us get back on track. I take a genuine and down to earth approach and I’m ready to join you wherever you are in life. Together we can figure out where you are going next in life, what your new normal may look like, and what tools you may need to get there. We can also explore how your past may be playing a role in your current experiences and ascribe meaning to these events so they can help you thrive instead of holding you back. I take a client centered approach and clients often tell me I am very non-judgmental, easy to talk to, and a good listener. Amid the challenges, we always find joy and humor to be had in the small moments. Healing happens when we can embrace all parts of ourselves, connect with others, and the world around us. There is always hope.
