Fatigued, disengaged, searching for meaning and purpose? Do you feel like you constantly abandon or disregard your own thoughts and feelings in relationships with others? Do you experience worry or concern that never seems to stop? Whether it’s a specific problem or general displeasure that you are searching for help with, I will hold space for you as we work together to explore root causes, process trauma, and build and establish new patterns and skills that allow you to be fully present and invested in your life. I have experience working with survivors of domestic abuse/intimate partner violence, depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. In our work together, I will utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy, and self-compassion/mindfulness interventions. It is imperative to me to make sure that you are seen, heard, and understood in all your complexities and experiences. I practice with a critical lens that serves to make sure I’m accounting for your intersectional identities and the power/privilege and systemic issues that affect you, me, and our therapeutic relationship.
