About

It's uncomfortable to reach out for help, to reveal our pain and personal matters to anyone, let alone a stranger. This is why my priority is creating a safe, judgment free space to build a genuine connection with my clients. In addition to developing strategies to relieve immediate distress, I apply my 15 years in mental health, from home-based to hospital crisis work, to help you identify the reasons behind your struggles and resolve the underlying causes. This provides the framework for positive growth and a deeper understanding of oneself, for lasting results.

I adapt my approach to meet your individual needs and therapeutic goals. You are the expert on your life and your experiences, and my role is to provide support, help you gain insight into any self-limiting beliefs, all while gently steering you in the right direction. Everything we need for growth is already inside us; it's just a matter of finding it.

I have thorough knowledge of anxiety, depression, and identifying/treating suicidal ideation, serving as clinical educator for a large crisis dept. My extensive training on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy provides a foundation for my work. I'd like to make the process of starting therapy as easy as possible and invite a conversation on how I might help you.
