I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker who specializes in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, disorders related to trauma, relationship issues, major life adjustments/ transitions, anger, and other personal issues. I specialize in individual counseling for children, adolescents, and young adults. I have a master’s degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University and a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Miami University. I individualize the treatment process for each person I work with and my therapy style is warm, compassionate, and empathetic. My methods of counseling include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution- Focused Therapy, Mindfulness/ Relaxation, Play therapy, and Coping Skills.
