About

I work with kids, adolescents, and adults who feel stuck; they are experiencing symptoms such as anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and disordered eating. Many have carried the weight of traumatic experiences for as long as they can remember. Many feel that they spend excess time worrying about food and their bodies and find it hard to engage fully in their lives. They continue to feel out of control of their relationships, their bodies, and their emotions. They feel numb and isolated on the surface, and deep down feel hurt and helpless. View 7 Photos

Healing is multidimensional, so I use many experiential/somatic interventions including EMDR, play/expressive arts therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness. I use a variety of approaches to help you gain skills to manage your symptoms while simultaneously being curious about the wounds that live under the surface.

More than I believe in the interventions I utilize, I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. I will be with you as you begin to unburden what you have been carrying for so long. You will learn to feel connected to your self, your emotions, others, and the world around you. You can begin to feel engaged and safe for what may be the first time.
