About

If you are ready to put in the work, I can show you what works. As a former professor, I stay current in the treatment literature. Most clients generally have some basic, limited behaviors that are causing them difficulties and often are unaware of their strong and productive behaviors. With understanding and analysis of these problems, the solutions are often clear and with effort, their lives improve and become more productive. I also offer "second opinions."

I practice Behavior Therapy, applying the principles of behavior modification and Applied Behavior Analysis. Behavior Therapy has the most established research base and the widest application of all the approaches to people's problems. The psychologist and client(s) work together to modify both positive and negative behaviors.

People often believe their difficult behaviors are strange and unusual. Actually, most troubling behavior is the result of a learning process and difficult environments. With understanding, people learn to modify their behavior and their environments and my job is to teach and direct them in this process.
