Navigating life's challenges can be overwhelming and we can all use some help and support along the way. Over the past 30 years I have helped people dealing with Depression, Anxiety; HIV and other Chronic Illness; Childhood Trauma; Gender and Sexual Identity Issues; and Substance Use. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community from a place of inclusion, support and empowerment. I strive to create a warm, inviting and judgement free space for you to share your issues and concerns. Together we explore how you came to be who you are today, evaluate where you want to be in your life going forward and build the skills to get there. Therapy is a process of self-discovery and my role is to be a knowledgable and compassionate guide. I can help you to build insight by actively listening and sharing observations and tools to promote self-awareness and improved communication and coping skills.
