About

We all need quality counseling at times, and if you are thinking about counseling, well done! Every step requires courage, and I respect yours. Whether your needs seem small or overwhelming I would be honored to walk with you on your healing journey. My goals are to help you identify what human flourishing means for you, gain insight into what keeps you from living that fully, and develop the tools you need to move into that flourishing. I provide a safe, supportive space for the vital therapeutic relationship. And I offer teletherapy with a generous sliding scale fee structure to make your flourishing as accessible as possible! My approach to psychotherapy is integrative, drawing primarily from cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic therapies, as well as positive, person-centered, family systems, and existential approaches. However, you do not have to know anything about the different types of therapy. You just need a willingness to engage in the therapeutic relationship.

Additionally, as a white, cishet man, I am committed to critical awareness of how systemic inequities related to gender, race, class, ability, and sexuality can affect my clients' well-being. Whatever brings you to therapy, I look forward to connecting and building a healing relationship that develops the beauty and power of who you are and who you can be.
