About

Relationship is at the root of my work as a therapist. My goal is to establish trusting connections through empathy, humanness, acceptance, support and humor. I work with pre-teens, teens, adults, couples and families on relationship issues; I also offer treatment of depression, anxiety, mood disorders, grief and self-esteem.

Since 2005, it has been a joy and privilege to have served many individuals and families in the greater Nashville community. During this time, I have practiced in school settings, community mental health, private practice and as a clinical supervisor. My passion is working with teenagers and those who are experiencing anxiety disorders.

I believe therapy can be a helpful tool to assist in healing from life's hardships, creating a greater understanding of oneself; change happens with better understanding of our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. While partnering with my clients, I primarily utilize my training in family systems theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and client preferences.
