Hello everyone and welcome! I'm Marylynn Mohr, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I received my masters in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Brenau University in Gainesville, GA. I specialize in treating anxiety-related disorders and also specialize in working with attachment-based patterns and behaviors. I have background in working with individuals with past trauma. I use an integrative approach with adult clients to tailor therapy to best fit each individual client's needs. In our first session together, we will discuss brief introductions along with gathering essential background information and current medical, social, occupation, and other relevant histories to create the best tailored measurement-based treatment plan. We will work on these goals in follow up sessions. I believe in my 9 years of working in a variety of mental health settings have exposed me to many effective treatment modalities that I love to pull from and treat each client. When I work with clients who want a fellow Christian therapist, I am able to understand and relate to these clients in their beliefs.
