About

I'm a licensed and board certified psychologist (ABBP-Counseling) specializing in individual therapy with adults in Boston, MA. I earned the Ed. D in Counseling Psychology at the UMASS-Amherst in 1980 and have been a licensed & practicing psychologist since 1981. I earned the MFA (Creative Writing, Literature & Publishing) from Emerson College-'94. It's challenging to work with people who are eager to express their creativity. My nearly 30 years as a forensic psychologist affords me insights to help those coping with legal issues, grief, loss, relationship and career stress.

With almost 40 years lived experience as a licensed and board certified psychologist (American Board of Professional Psychology-ABPP/Counseling) my personal and professional journey has been filled with joy, heartbreak, love, loss, victory and defeat. Without the insights, compassion, and guidance of others, I too would be floundering. It helps to talk.

Let's talk about your life transitions as you experience all of life's challenges and rewards. My clinical skills are best utilized with those undergoing transitions, dealing with loss, grief, sadness, anxiety, and stress associated with relationships, career or creative roadblocks to what you perceive as success and toward your definition of happiness.
