Working with clients from ethnic minority groups is my passion; especially Brazilians, Latinos and Native Americans. Having experienced being an immigrant myself while living in Brazil, I am very aware of the unique difficulties facing newly arrived immigrants. Individuals needing assistance with school difficulties, parenting concerns, family conflict, marital discord, or functionally impairing mental health symptoms are my ideal client. Providing linguistically and culturally appropriate therapy and psychological testing for my clients is my highest priority. I am competent to work with clients ages 18 months to about 70 years. I am also a conditional prescribing psychologist in the state of New Mexico and can therefore provide additional consultations on psychotropic medications.
