I have a lifetime of experiences working with diverse cultures internationally and here in the Portland area. This has given me invaluable insight into how our backgrounds contribute to our own unique stories and how we find healing and meaning in our life. For about 8 years, I have worked as both a child/family therapist and an adult therapist focusing on trauma across the life span. I work primarily with older teens and young adults. My approach is interactive in style and eclectic, including Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I use warmth, humor, creativity, and a direct but gentle approach in helping clients find ways to heal.
