Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist
I’m Mary Katherine (she/her), a LGBTQ+ affirming and pro-choice therapist working with individuals aged 16 and older. (I also work with couples after a screening process to ensure there's a good fit between their needs and my therapy style). Using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I help my clients reconnect with their values so that they can navigate life changes and challenges while also reclaiming hope and empowerment. Some of the subjects I work with include attachment style, obsessive-compulsive disorder, religious deconstruction and trauma, and experience with abortion. I believe that therapy isn’t about learning how to live the “right” way but instead how to create a life that feels more meaningful. To this end, I approach all of my clients with warmth, acceptance, and the feminist belief that each person’s journey, experiences, and perspective are unique. If you are looking for a confidential space to practice authenticity, safely risk being vulnerable, reclaim your sense-of-self, and achieve greater vibrancy in life, I would love to be a part of your journey.
