I treat individuals, couples, and families. I provide treatment that includes helping you develop tools that will aid you in solving or managing your problems. I can help you deal with past hurts and manage current issues. I operate from a collaborative, strengths-based approach. I strive to treat each person with dignity and respect. While I am not a certified substance abuse provider, I have experience in treating substance abuse issues. In addition to receiving an excellent education in family and systems approaches to mental health and relationship issues, I have received training in how to effectively integrate conservative Christian views into the practice of professional therapy when the client requests it. My past experiences include the practice of therapy in churches, in an agency, and on a psychiatric emergency team at two hospitals, as well as teaching at a Christian college. I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I have served on the Kentucky Board of Licensure for Marriage and Family Therapists.
