Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
Every person has the inherent ability to heal and grow, and my job is to foster this process.I work with adults, couples & families. I am highly trained and experienced, and my stance is respectful, compassionate and nonjudgmental. .I have witnessed my clients overcome their difficulties (anxiety, depression, burnout, loneliness, isolation, relationship tangles, work struggles) and go on to live a better and more fulfilling life. My credentials include: Fulbright Scholar in Clinical Psychology; Member, American Family Therapy Academy;.a faculty appointment at Yale School of Medicine, Dept. of Psychiatry. You'll feel better after a few meetings: more alive, more hopeful & empowered. My therapeutic approach meshes human value (listening, kindness, creativity) and science.. I see people with ordinary "stuckness;" but I also treat people and their families with serious mental health problems, like early psychosis, severe depression & other conditions. It can be hard to reach out when you are feeling vulnerable. A safe space is one of things clients often say I provide. At the same time, my work has earned an international reputation with an emphasis on state-of-the-art, evidence-based approaches, including Internal Family Systems and Dialogic Practice.
