We live in an unprecedented time of stress and overwhelm, balancing so many roles and responsibilities in our homes and communities. So many of us struggle with feelings of anxiety, hopelessness, rage, shame, guilt. Sometimes we struggle with a shifting sense of identity as we become new parents or when we have to care for an aging family member. Even joyful and meaningful transitions in our life are complex and come with mixed emotions! We want to make sense of our feelings and experiences. We want to feel more grounded, calm, and present. We want to get back in touch with our true selves. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a decade of experience in psychiatric social work as well as hospital based social work. I have experience with intimate partner violence support, refugee and immigrant work, and end-of-life care. I am passionate about helping people through life transitions such as becoming a new parent or grieving a loss. Mental health concerns have long been stigmatized, however I feel hopeful that our culture is shifting to a better understanding of the importance of mental wellness and its connection to physical health and overall wellbeing. I offer a nonjudgmental, calm, and curious approach where we can work toward your goals and invite healing together.
