About

People today are under a lot of stress and are experiencing anxiety and depression like never before. Stress is the main cause for maladaptive behavior and for relapse, and many people turn to alcohol or substances to manage anxiety and depression People who struggle with alcohol or substance abuse need to become aware of what their personal triggers are, identify the underlying causes for their addiction, develop healthy coping skills, and learn relapse prevention strategies in order to live a full and healthy life with meaning and purpose.

I specialize in identifying the underlying emotional causes for addiction, and with helping people identify what their personal triggers are. I use cognitive behavioral therapy to help people recognize and change their negative thought process to elicit more positive behavior. I specialize in stress/anger management, emotional regulation and mindfulness.

If you are struggling with addiction, anxiety or depression and want to get your life back on track I can help. I have been working with people since 2009 at all levels of treatment, from outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatric, group therapy to individual therapy. I have extensive knowledge of alcohol use disorder/substance use disorder and mental health.
