I have been a counseling professional for over 30 years and offer a broad background of knowledge to assist individuals and families in their efforts to lead powerful lives. I believe in the wellness of every human being. I enjoy helping others find their strengths and live with a sense of balance and purpose. Clients who are willing to truly to take risks, develop new patterns of thinking and create really lasting outcomes for themselves do well in my practice. I also assist families in crisis and change. I approach these situations with creative ideas and positive support. I am specifically trained to work with juveniles, families in change, divorce, custody and co-parenting. I have education and training in anxiety disorders, depression management, individual growth and development and effective interpersonal communication. I have made it a point to broaden my practice throughout the years in many areas. When appropriate, I enjoy combining spirituality, mindfulness and mediation and other wellness focused interventions with more traditional counseling approaches. Understanding the neurological origins of many disorders has assisted many of my clients in their journeys as well and I offer an integrated approach to counseling for my clients.
