Processing our experiences in the world while trying to balance work, relationships, family, self-care, and everyday responsibilities can be challenging and overwhelming. It’s even more complicated when one or more of our identities shape these experiences. This is why I strive to provide culturally informed, evidence-based care to individuals who often come from marginalized communities, including Black men and women, LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, veterans, and many others, while addressing a variety of concerns. My hope is to first build trust within our relationship given how important it is to feel safe in a therapeutic setting. I prefer to take a more collaborative approach in sessions, which means we join together to discuss your goals and create a plan tailored to you. I also focus on building confidence and autonomy so that you start to feel empowered. I aim to help you walk away feeling heard, affirmed, equipped with deeper insight, and motivated to enhance your well-being. If you are willing and ready enough to start this journey, I'm here to help. Feel free to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation to see if my services are a good fit for your needs.
