About

Has your confidence been shaken recently? Are you trying to move forward, yet feel uncertain about making a change? Maybe you are feeling sad or overwhelmed? Psychotherapy can be a very powerful tool to achieve growth, healing and insight towards a more satisfying and authentic life. The essential ingredient for a positive therapeutic outcome is finding a therapist who is a good fit for you. You will find me to be warm and direct. I will create a safe space for you to speak freely, so that we can develop a plan together that works for you.

I have extensive experience treating disordered eating and body image concerns. In addition, my other specialties include working with issues of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, self-defeating behaviors, career/relationship dissatisfaction, sexuality, stress management, grief/loss (including pet loss), chronic pain and trauma.

Depending on your goals, I utilize psychodynamic, CBT, and mindfulness based approaches to relieve current distress while addressing underlying factors for long term gains. One focus of my practice has been to help professionals, artists and athletes to understand and move past setbacks.
