I am a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and licensed in the areas of Substance Abuse and Mental Health. I have experience working with individuals/families suffering from Substance Abuse (specializing in Opiate Addictions), Learning Disabilities, Depression, Anxiety, Parenting, and PTSD. I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and components of DBT. I am trained in the yoga practice, which according to Georg Feuerstein, "Yoga therapy is of modern coinage and represents a first effort to integrate traditional yogic concepts and techniques with Western medical and psychological knowledge." This approach allows me to work with a variety of individuals using innovative strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
