She likes to focus on reasonable and attainable goal setting and use of practical skills so that the individual can see the most progress in and out of session. Marley enjoys creating an open and honest environment where her clients can feel seen, heard and understood. Marley enjoys clarifying diagnoses and providing psychoeducation for those who are either starting off in their mental health journey or those who have been in treatment for a while. Marley has worked with children and families in rural Western North Carolina, adults with serious and persistent mental illness in the state hospital system and outpatient therapy with all ages. Marley has a wide range of professional and personal experience she can meet your needs and provide the care you are seeking. Marley works with adolescents, adults and older adults utilizing the approaches of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy and provides trauma-informed care to all.
