About

My guiding principle as a therapist is that we are put on this Earth to fully enjoy and participate in life. I have several years experience working as a social worker and educator in several different capacities and contexts. My practice focuses on how family of origin paradigms as well as other life experiences, can keep us from reaching our full potential in life and how becoming aware of these can free us to become more fulfilled human beings.

As a therapist I see each individual I work with as unique and special, and as such, I seek to develop a therapeutic relationship which first and foremost provides each client, the opportunity to clearly and effectively formulate and then work on their own personal goals and objectives. My approach is gentle and caring without being enabling.

As a therapist I believe that all individuals, no matter their background or sexual orientation, deserve to fully participate in life's journey - a journey best made without fear and the drag of unhealthy patterns or judgments.
