I especially love helping teens/ young adults (and their parents) with developing their independence. I'm excited to help individuals and families enjoy their lives more either by improving relationships, better managing their stage of life tasks, and also while dealing with difficult problems including Relationship/ Marital issues, Family Conflicts, Affairs, Sex addiction, Co-parenting, "Growing Up" issues, Adjusting to Divorce, Gay & Lesbian & Gender (Transgender) issues, Substance Abuse, Grief, Violence and Anger Management including Probation & Diversion involvement. I typically use a mix of Solution-Focused, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Family Therapy and Behavior Management approaches. EMDR trained through the Trauma Institute, Northampton, Mass. I try to focus quickly on the struggles presented, and tend to "tell it like it is".
