About

I greatly enjoy working with adults on issues including relationships, anger, communications, anxiety, stress coping, grief, substance abuse, parenting, and mild to moderate depression. In fact, while I was an 18/19-year-old college student, I saw a counselor at my college for anger and depression and it made an incredible, positive difference in my life. Now I have the privilege to provide caring, compassionate and confidential counseling to others. Evening and weekend appointments are available, in addition to some weekday daytime hours. I earned a Master's degree in Counseling from JBU in Siloam Springs. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Specialist in Anger Management (CSAM), and Licensed Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselor with over 20 years of counseling experience. I have served 4 terms as President of the NWA Mental Health Counselors Association.

With many therapists, a counseling "hour" may only be 45-50 minutes long. However, I give clients a full hour, not a shortened hour, so I can spend more time with you. We all have room to grow, including myself. Contact me for a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if I would be the right therapist for your needs. I look forward to working with you!
