I now only work online through Skype. I have worked with a variety of issues over my 30 years in my profession. I have been an Adjunct Instructor in the UN-O Graduate Counseling Department, Consultant to area psychiatric programs, Director of Outpatient programs, and a presenter to a wide range of businesses as well as my outpatient practice. I like the diversity of my practice in terms of diagnostic features rather than a particular specialty. My many years of practice have allowed me to work with such a wide range of circumstances and issues. couples, marital, family, relationship, other topics include parenting, divorce, blended family issues. I support the 12 step programs from gambling to alcohol/drugs, Al-Anon, GA, SA (sex addictions/pornography). Diagnoses included are depressive disorders (major depression, bipolar, dysthymia, cyclothymia, anxiety), substance abuse (alcohol/drugs), OCD. One idea that is very important to me is that I understand people come to me to feel better. I believe in educating patients relative to understanding how they got where they are, how to change where they are and how to maintain a healthier disposition over time.
