As a former teacher of children with special needs, I am keenly aware of the challenges and rewards that families of children with special needs face. My experience, education, and training gives me a unique perspective and I believe the ability to be assistance to families and children who are facing those unique rewards and challenges. Although my training focused largely on children and families, it also included individual adult therapy. I use cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and/or solution-focused approaches to therapy, depending on the client’s needs. However, the therapeutic relationship with the client (and family) is the most important aspect of therapy. I am here to help.
