I am currently unable to see clients privately. I am seeing clients at the Desoto Family Counseling Center in Southaven, Mississippi. At this time, my schedule is booked and I have a waiting list. I have over 30 years of experience as a therapist and am a former university professor. My area of expertise is adverse childhood experiences, early attachment issues, health problems, violence, trauma, and grief, ADHD, as well as anxiety, and depression. My approach is client-centered and mindfulness based and meditation. For children, play therapy. With talk therapy, people gain a greater sense of well-being, feel stronger and safer and live with more ease in the world. Being able to talk freely about how you are truly feeling, according to neuroscience research, allows a person to regain a sense of power and control. As one would say, "A person is able to get it off their chest."
