Hi! My name is Marilyn Rivas and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I became a social worker in 2012 and became licensed in 2018. Throughout my journey in this field I have come to realize that what most of us need is validation and support without judgement. Life can be difficult and I feel that I have helped many people through difficult moments and assisted them in strengthening their relationships so that they thrive outside of therapy. Each session is catered to my client and together we choose the best approach towards healing. Sessions can focus on insight, reflection, identifying and building strengths, understanding patterns, learning coping mechanisms and a variety of other topics. I love what I do and bring my passion into each session. I want everyone to be heard and feel better. Even if you don't choose me as your therapist, I want you to get help and know that you don't have to go through anything alone.
