I work with adults and teens who are stuck and want to try something different. Come if you're anxious, depressed, grieving, dealing with relationship issues, low self esteem or one of life's many transitions. I appreciate clients who are willing to participate in their self-exploration. This might include trying some art, music, writing, guided imagery or EMDR. My clinical experience includes: intensive in-patient and out-patient treatment at UCSF Langley Porter, Bereavement Counseling at Hospice, on-site school counselor at elementary and middle schools and personal growth through social justice performances with incarcerated men View 4 Photos When we first meet, we will start with traditional talk therapy. As a Registered Drama Therapist and a Certified Hakomi Therapist, I often use action-oriented methods when appropriate to support you in finding new ways to grow and heal. This might include role-play, mindfulness, or body wisdom to dissolve fears and blocks. Together we will custom design a unique course of action just for you. My wish is that you will feel supported in a warm environment, be heard and understood and get clarity on how to live a more fulfilling life. It's time to let yourself Shine!
