Do you struggle to understand why you sometimes respond to situations in counterproductive ways? A variety of life experiences have shaped our sense of self, and continue to influence our responses. As a therapist, I love to open the space for you to explore the gap between how you are responding and how you desire to live your life. My personal experience includes many life lessons including 40+ years of marriage to a military veteran, parenting seven children, loving grandchildren, volunteer work with Christian ministry, women's recovery groups, home education, social work in public schools, counseling and support for nursing home residents, and counseling in private practice. If you are struggling with past or present issues, by looking for a therapist you are already taking an important step toward change. My job as a therapist is to listen and learn from you. I empower you to gain perspective from the past, honestly access the present, and embark on the journey to live your life with purpose.
